Mumbai, September 10

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has exempted Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut from the 14-day house quarantine rule for these arriving from exterior the state, an official stated.

Ranaut, who’s at the moment in information due to the controversy over her comment evaluating Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir and the BMC’s demolition of ‘unlawful’ buildings at her bungalow, arrived right here earlier within the day.

A senior BMC official stated she had made an internet utility for the exemption from house quarantine as she was on a brief go to.

“Since she is staying here for less than a week, she was exempted under the ‘short-term visitor category’,” the officer advised PTI.

According to BMC officers, Ranaut is scheduled to go away Mumbai on September 14. PTI
