The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has been conferred with the Silver Award within the seventh Exceed Environment Award – 2020” below Environment Preservation class within the energy sector.
The award was offered to BBMB by the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar, in a digital webinar organised by the Sustainable Development Foundation.
BBMB yearly generates 10,000 to 14,000 million models of inexperienced and pollution-free hydropower for its associate states.
