The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday gave yet another month to the Centre to adjust to its February 17 verdict granting everlasting fee to ladies officers within the Army.
A Bench headed by Justice DY Chandrachud requested the federal government to make sure full compliance with its order even because the Ministry of Defence stated the choice making was on the last stage and solely the formal order remained to be issued.
An further one month has been granted in view of the pandemic. The Centre had sought six extra months to implement the SC order for the grant of everlasting fee to ladies officers and command postings.
