The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the ‘YSR Asara’ scheme on Friday to learn 87 lakh ladies belonging to eight.71 lakh self-help teams (SHGs).
In an announcement issued on Friday, the chief minister stated: “I promised that I will reimburse all outstanding loans of SHGs as on April 11, 2019, in four instalments and today, I am releasing the first”.
No different authorities had launched such a scheme benefiting so many ladies, he stated, including that the federal government of Andhra Pradesh would reimburse all of the excellent loans taken by all the ladies members of the SHGs belonging to the SC, ST, BC, and minority communities on April 11, 2019.
The scheme guarantees to deposit cash within the financial institution accounts of eligible ladies, amounting to Rs 27,168 crore in complete in 4 instalments.
The first instalment of Rs 6,792 crore was launched on Friday in a digital occasion. According to the state authorities’s calculations, the excellent loans of eligible ladies on the deadline have been decided to be amounting to Rs 25,383 crore.
Most of those ladies hailing from poor households have been compelled to take these loans for schooling, healthcare, and care of aged individuals at dwelling, day by day wants and different emergencies.
