Amit Shah recovered, prone to be discharged quickly, says AIIMS

New Delhi, August 29

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was admitted to AIIMS right here on August 18 for post-COVID care, has recovered and is prone to be discharged in a short while, hospital authorities mentioned on Saturday.    

“Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, is admitted at AIIMS, New Delhi for post-COVID care. He has recovered and is likely to be discharged in a short time,” the AIIMS mentioned in a press release.

On August 2, Shah, 55, had mentioned on Twitter that he had examined constructive for COVID-19. He had undergone therapy for the coronavirus an infection at Medanta Hospital and was discharged after he examined detrimental for the illness.         

According to an earlier assertion by AIIMS, he was admitted to the hospital on August 18 following complaints of fatigue and physique aches, days after his discharge from Medanta. PTI
