5 UP railway officers get courtroom notices over practice accident in 2017

A neighborhood courtroom in Muzaffarnagar issued notices on Thursday in opposition to 5 railway officers, a few of them not in service, to seem in reference to the Kalinga Utkal practice accident that left 23 individuals lifeless in 2017.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Mukeem Ahmad issued the notices in opposition to the officers and directed them to seem in courtroom on October 17.

According to prosecution, the Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Government Railway Police had filed a cost sheet final month in opposition to the then senior part engineer Inderjit Singh, the then junior engineer Pradeep Kumar, the then station grasp Prakash Chand, the then part controller PV Taneja and hammer man Jitendra.
