As India’s Covid-19 caseload surpassed the 36-lakh mark immediately with 78,512 new infections in 24 hours, the federal government knowledge confirmed seven states accounted for 70 per cent of those.

Of the full 36,21,245, instances, three states — Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka — make up 43 per cent of the caseload.
