A 40-year-old man, who had examined coronavirus optimistic, allegedly dedicated suicide at a COVID-19 facility in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur, police mentioned on Wednesday.
The man allegedly hanged himself from a ceiling fan of the COVID care centre situated on Mahoba Road right here late on Tuesday night time, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sachin Sharma advised PTI on Wednesday.
The deceased, recognized as Sameer Khan, was admitted to the power after testing optimistic for the an infection two days again, he added.
Police try to establish the precise motive behind his excessive step, Sharma mentioned.
Meanwhile, his uncle, Karim Khan, mentioned that Sameer apparently took the acute step out of panic and nervousness.
He had examined COVID-19 optimistic on July 27, following which he was admitted to the COVID care centre, he added.
