19-year-old US pupil dies in UP street accident


Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), August 11

An adolescent pupil of Babson College in Massachusetts, US, has been killed in a street accident in Uttar Pradesh.

The sufferer, Sudeeksha Bhaati, was in India for holidays and was speculated to return to the US on August 20. The 19-year-old was on her technique to Bulandshahr on a two-wheeler when the accident occurred.

Her members of the family claimed she was along with her uncle on a scooty from Dadri on Monday night, when two males on a motorbike began following them.

“The men were passing comments on Sudeeksha and were trying to overtake her vehicle performing stunts to impress her. Suddenly, their bullet hit Sudeeksha’s scooty and it lost balance. Sudeeksha died on the spot,” stated Satyendra Bhaati, the uncle.

Atul Srivastava, Superintendent of Police (metropolis) stated that the physique has been despatched for submit mortem and a probe was underway.

Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati has condemned the incident and demanded motion towards the culprits. She tweeted: “A promising pupil, Sudeeksha Bhaati, who was occurring a motorcycle along with her uncle in Bulandshahr, misplaced her life as a consequence of eve-teasing, which is extraordinarily unhappy, embarrassing and really condemnable.
