Taliban insurgents set off a truck bomb on Tuesday in an assault on Afghan military commandos, killing three individuals and wounding 41, the defence ministry mentioned, regardless of steps in direction of peace talks with the US-backed authorities.
The Taliban claimed accountability for the blast within the northern province of Balkh, saying on Twitter that they had attacked the commandos.
