Islamabad, November 13
Pakistan PM Imran Khan has accused three-time former premier Nawaz Sharif of committing the “highest treason” by targeting the state security institutions.
Sharif last month directly named army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and ISI head Lt Gen Faiz Hameed for interfering in the general elections of 2018 to ensure victory of Khan. Sharif made the comments virtually from London on October 16 during a joint rally of the opposition parties. — PTI
