Russia says allegations COVID-19 vaccine is unsafe are groundless

Moscow, August 12

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko mentioned on Wednesday allegations that Russia’s COVID-19 vaccine was unsafe had been groundless and pushed by competitors, the Interfax information company reported.

President Vladimir Putin mentioned on Tuesday that Russia had turn out to be the primary nation to grant regulatory approval to a COVID-19 vaccine, after lower than two months of human testing.

Moscow’s determination to grant it approval has raised issues amongst some specialists. Only about 10 per cent of medical trials are profitable and a few scientists worry Moscow could also be placing nationwide status earlier than security. Reuters
