Protests erupt in Thailand


More than 1,000 protesters gathered in Thailand to push for their core demands, including that PM Prayuth Chan-ocha leave office and the constitution be amended.

Later, the protesters called off their demonstration held in defiance of a government ban in Bangkok on Friday. The police used water canons to disperse them. Reuters
