Pak passes Bill to examine terror funding

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Parliament has handed a Bill geared toward bringing extra management and transparency within the registration and regulation of cooperative societies to examine terror financing as a part of the nation’s efforts to flee from being blacklisted by the worldwide cash laundering and terrorist financing watchdog. The Paris-based Financial Action Task Force (FATF) put Pakistan on the gray record in June 2018 and requested Islamabad to implement a plan of motion to keep away from being blacklisted. — PTI
