BERLIN, September 7
Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny has been faraway from a medically induced coma and is responding to speech, Berlin’s Charite hospital mentioned on Monday.
The hospital, which has been treating Navalny since he was airlifted to Germany after falling in poor health on a Russian home flight final month, mentioned his situation has improved and he’s being weaned off mechanical air flow. “It remains too early to gauge the potential long-term effects of his severe poisoning,” Charite mentioned in an announcement. — Reuters
