Johnson confuses farmers’ stir with India-Pak dispute

London: UK PM Boris Johnson on Wednesday seemed to confuse two separate issues when he reiterated the UK government’s stance that any dispute between India and Pakistan was for the two countries to settle bilaterally. As UK Labour MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi said Johnson should convey to Narendra Modi “our anxieties”, Johnson responded, “We have serious concerns about what is happening between India and Pakistan.” PTI

Pak determines price of Dilip Kumar’s ancestral house

Peshawar: Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has determined the price of the ancestral houses of legendary Bollywood actors Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor in the heart of this city as Rs 80,56,000 and Rs 1,00,50,000 respectively. The provincial government in September decided to purchase their ancestral houses to conserve the historic buildings which are in a dilapidated state. PTI
