Finnish prime minister marries her long-time companion

Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin introduced Sunday that she has married her long-time companion, eight months after turning into the top of presidency.

Marin, 34, stated on her Instagram account that she married Markus Raikkonen on Saturday and posted an image of the couple of their wedding ceremony outfits with a bunch of white flowers.

Finland’s authorities stated on its web site that the marriage occurred at Kesaranta, the prime minister’s official residence. It stated the couple’s household and closest mates attended.

Marin and Raikkonen have been collectively for 16 years and have a 2 1/2-year-old daughter, the federal government stated.

Marin, a Social Democrat who has been a prolific consumer of social media and a eager advocate for environmental points, grew to become Finland’s prime minister in December.
