Big greeting card fetches world document for Indian in UAE

Dubai: An Indian expatriate in the UAE has entered the Guinness World Records for the 19th time after he unveiled a 8.2 square metre giant pop-up greeting card, commemorating the 15th Accession Day of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and PM of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Ramkumar Sarangapani’s greetings card is 100 times larger than the regular pop-up cards. PTI

Pak okays Rs 2.3 cr to purchase houses of Dilip, Raj Kapoor

Peshawar: Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved the release of Rs 2.35 crore to purchase the ancestral houses of legendary Bollywood actors Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor located in the heart of this city. The houses are national heritages. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Mehmud Khan formally approved the proposal, allowing the authorities concerned to purchase the ancestral havelis. PTI

India’s 1st US cultural diplomat returns after 3-yr tenure

Washington: The three-year term of India’s first cultural diplomat to the US, Dr Moxraj, has ended. He spent last three years teaching Sanskrit, Hindi and spreading traditional Indian culture along with Yoga and meditation in many US states. He said Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam has found its own resonance in the post-Covid world. PTI
