Belarusian chief tells inside ministry to finish unrest in Minsk

Belarusian chief Alexander Lukashenko stated on Wednesday he had ordered the Interior Ministry to finish the unrest in Minsk that erupted after a contested presidential election his opponents say was rigged, the Belta information company reported.

Lukashenko additionally stated {that a} group of state media staff who went on strike as a part of the protests wouldn’t be allowed to return to their jobs.

He additionally ordered border authorities to step up safety on the border to stop the entry into the nation of “fighters and arms”, Belta reported. Reuters
