75th anniversary of Hiroshima bombing

Bells tolled in Hiroshima on Thursday for the 75th anniversary of the world’s first atomic bombing.

Though hundreds normally pack the Peace Park within the centre of the Japanese metropolis to supply paper cranes as a logo of peace, entry was sharply restricted.

As the Peace Bell sounded, the group noticed silence on the precise time the bomb exploded. Reuters
