1st batch of Afghan Sikhs reaches Delhi


Months after the CAA got here into pressure, the primary batch of Afghan Sikhs reached Delhi on Sunday, fleeing spiritual persecution.

Among those that returned embody Nidan Singh Sachdeva, who was earlier kidnapped by militia teams affiliated to Haqqani community, in Afghanistan.

“We appreciate the efforts of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in extending necessary support for the safe return of these families,” a launch by the MEA acknowledged.
