17 killed as boat capsizes in Bangladesh

A passenger boat carrying about 50 individuals, together with madrassa college students and academics, capsized on Wednesday in northern Bangladesh, killing at the very least 17 individuals, in accordance with a media report.

The incident occurred in Netrokona district’s Madan upazila.
