Sonu Sood pledges help for over 400 households of deceased, injured migrants


Mumbai, July 13

Actor Sonu Sood on Monday stated he would offer monetary help to over 400 households of deceased and injured migrant staff, hit by the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown.

The “Dabangg” actor bought in contact with the authorities of varied states, together with, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and took related data—addresses and financial institution particulars—of the migrants who misplaced their lives.

“I’ve decided to help families of the deceased or injured migrants for them to have a secure future. I feel it’s my personal responsibility to support them,” Sood stated in a press release.

The 46-year-old has been arranging transport for hundreds of migrants determined to return to their residence states.

Last month, the actor organized for chartered flights to assist fly over 300 migrant staff. —PTI
