Popular playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam fighting COVID-19 for over a month died on Friday.
He was on life support and was extremely critical.
The 74-year-old, popularly known as SPB, was admitted on August 5, “remained on ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and other life support measures”.
He was admitted to the hospital with mild symptoms deteriorated for the first time on August 13 and late night he was put on life support and moved to the Intensive Care Unit.
On August 19, he was put on ECMO besides ventilator.
His condition deteriorated in the last 24 hours.
