A senior Mumbai police official has claimed that the IPS brother-in-law of Sushant Singh Rajput had requested him to name the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty to police station and pressurise her.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Paramjit Singh Dahiya informed a TV channel that OP Singh, brother-in-law of Rajput and senior IPS officer of Haryana Police, had made the request in February this 12 months.
Rajput, 34, was discovered hanging at his residence in suburban Bandra on June 14.
Singh requested me to name Rhea to the police station informally and pressurise her,” stated Dahiya, who was the zonal police head of Bandra area until April 1.
Dahiya stated Singh informed him that Rajput’s household felt Rhea was “controlling” the actor and wished her out of his life.
