Having a passion for science, a bright young girl builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of a legendary Moon Goddess. Directed by Glen Keane, this animated adventure film has voice-overs by Cathy Ang, Phillipa Soo, Robert G. Chiu and Ken Jeong, among others.

A Suitable Boy

Tabu and Ishaan Khatter will play the protagonists in Mira Nair’s TV adaptation of Vikram Seth’s novel A Suitable Boy, which releases this Friday. Set in 1951 India, the six-episode series is about a passionate literature student, Lata Mehra, who is torn between her duty towards her family and love life, as three different men try to woo her.

Corridors of power

The much-awaited season 2 of Mirzapur will be out on Friday. This season doesn’t stay confined to the violent world of Mirzapur, but takes one into the corridors of power, where a nexus between politicians and criminals prevails. Women in the new season are bolder and complex, as they will not hesitate in using any means to achieve their goals.

Olaf, the innocent and insightful, summer-loving snowman, who melted hearts in Frozen, will be back in Walt Disney’s animated film Once Upon a Snowman. The film follows Olaf’s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle.

ShemarooMe is all set to release Kasaai, an acclaimed socio-political drama. The Gajendra S. Shrotriya-directorial is based on real incidents that still occur in rural India. A gruesome murder takes place during the all-important village elections, but dirty politics leads to the cover-up of the startling crime. It stars Mita Vashisht in lead role.
