“I have no regrets nor do I feel guilty about expressing my feelings for Aly Goni,” says Sonali Phogat who was evicted from Bigg Boss house recently. During her short stay as a wild card entry inside the Bigg Boss house, Sonali believes she has made good friends and the eviction has something good in store. Talking about the same, “I am known for my dhaakad attitude and I am completely satisfied with the way I have expressed myself during my stay inside the house. For me dhaakad is being hundred per cent real and calling out someone only when it is needed. I know my act of expressing my feelings for Aly Goni drew much flak, but I don’t think one has control over who you like and why. I have just been honest.” About trolls on her age and making TikTok or dance videos, it doesn’t affect her. “It was during Aly Goni episode that hate comments were ‘doing the rounds but ever since I got evicted, I have only heard good things from the followers,” she adds.
What did the 30-day stay teach her? She says, “Definitely to move on and let go of petty things. I have found that I took fights and arguments to the heart and kept over thinking and discussing it. But now it doesn’t affect me.” Although she had arguments with Nikki and Rubina Dilaik, Sonali says, “I am in good term with the both of them. At the same time, Salman pointed me out for using abusive language but I think I committed no crime. A week later, even Salman agreed to the things I observed about Rubina.” Ask her who is she rooting for in the finale and she takes Rahul Vaidya’s name without a second thought.
An actor-turned-politician, she believes post Bigg Boss, she has managed to gain followers and acting projects. “I think I will be able to manage both acting and working for my people. I would be doing a movie with Gugu Gill and Ammy Virk.”
