ED grills Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty for 18 hours; each to be quizzed once more

Continuing its probe within the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has grilled Showik Chakraborty, brother of actress Rhea Chakraborty, for the second time in reference to their monetary transactions.

Showik, who went to the ED workplace round midday on Saturday, was seen leaving after greater than 18 hours round 7 am on Sunday.

According to officers, he has reportedly given “evasive or unconvincing replies” to the ED workforce quizzing him and is more likely to be summoned once more on Monday.

Besides, Rhea Chakraborty will even be summoned by the ED for an additional spherical of questioning on Monday. She had first been questioned for over eight hours on Friday.

Among different issues, the ED is investigating the money-laundering angle within the Sushant case after the late actor’s father Krishna Kishore Singh lodged a grievance with Patna Police to query sure monetary issues pertaining to his son.
