January 27: Penguin Bloom on Netflix

The family drama, directed by Glendyn Ivin, is based on a book by the same name. The film stars Naomi Watts, Andrew Lincoln and Jacki Weaver. It tells the amazing, true, story of renewal that occurred when a woman, whose life seemed shattered, found hope and purpose in her family’s love — and in a bird on its own journey of recovery.

January 29: College Romance Season 2 on Sony LIV

From love to lies to friends to fights, College Romance is a show comprising lovely experiences from college life. Post a successful first season with an 8.9 IMDB rating, TVF is back with the second season of the show on Sony LIV. Directed by Apoorva Singh Karki, the show stars Manjot Singh, Apoorva Arora, Keshav Sadhna, Gagan Arora and Shreya Mehta.

January 29: The Dig on Netflix

As WW II looms, a wealthy widow hires an amateur archaeologist to excavate the burial mounds on her estate. When they make a historic discovery, the echoes of Britain’s past resonate in the face of its uncertain future. The Dig is a drama film directed by Simon Stone, which reimagines the events of the 1939 excavation of Sutton Hoo. It stars Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Lily James and Johnny Flynn, among others.

January 29: We Are: The Brooklyn Saints on Netflix

We Are: The Brooklyn Saints, a four-part documentary series, follows a youth football programme in the heart of East NY, Brooklyn. Through intimate footage the series chronicles the personal stories of the young athletes, as well as the support system of coaches and parents rallying behind them.
