Markets regulator SEBI on Wednesday gave leisure of 1 month until September 15 to listed firms for submitting their June quarter outcomes amid the coronavirus pandemic. The transfer comes after SEBI acquired requests for extension of time for submission of monetary outcomes for the quarter or half 12 months ended June 30, because of the shortened time hole between the prolonged deadline for submitting monetary outcomes for the interval ended March 31 and the quarter or half 12 months ended June 30.
“After consideration, it has been decided to extend the timeline for submission of financial results…for the quarter or half year or financial year ended June 30, 2020, to September 15, 2020,” SEBI stated in a round.
Listed entities had been required to submit the monetary outcomes for the quarter or half 12 months ended June 30, 2020 on or earlier than August 14, 2020.
Normally, listed firms are required to file their annual outcomes inside 60 days from the tip of a monetary 12 months, whereas within the case of quarterly outcomes, companies are required to file it inside 45 days from the tip of 1 / 4.
In June, SEBI had given one other month extension until July 31 to listed firms for submitting their fourth-quarter in addition to annual outcomes. Earlier, the deadline to submit the monetary outcomes was June 30.
