Retail inflation rises to six.09% in June

New Delhi, July 13

Retail inflation elevated to six.09% in June, primarily on account of upper costs of meals objects, the federal government information confirmed on Monday.

Food inflation in June elevated to 7.87%, based on Consumer Price Index (CPI) information.

The inflation figures are primarily based on information collected from restricted markets in view of the restrictions imposed on account of coronavirus pandemic. — PTI
