The nation’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Wednesday mentioned it’s recalling 1,34, 885 items of WagonR and Baleno with the intention to change defective gasoline pumps.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), which sources Baleno from MSI and sells it as Glanza, additionally mentioned it’s recalling round 6,500 items of the premium hatchback to repair the identical downside.
In an announcement, MSI mentioned it’s voluntarily recalling WagonR (1-litre) manufactured between November 15, 2018, and October 15, 2019, and Baleno (petrol) manufactured between January 8, 2019, and November 4, 2019. The firm will examine 56,663 items of WagonR and 78,222 items of Baleno for a doable problem with the gasoline pump. — PTI
